Better late than never...the Merge from the Sehome Invite shows that it is going to likely be a tight battle all year long between the three schools from Bellingham. Sehome edged out Squalicum and Bellingham this time around. As previously discussed, merges aren't a super accurate picture of what would have happened if everyone raced together, but they do give an idea of where teams stand. Runner's potentially most adversely affected by being in separate races are Chris Fredlund from Squalicum and Kirby Overman from Sehome, as they won their races it is is realistic to think that if they had been in the Senior race they both would have been pulled through to faster times and broken the top ten overall (all schools) on the day.
